Tiffany Hall, Director of Catering
Tiffany is the visionary behind 1881 Event Hall. She has been in the event industry since 2012 and leads our team with unparalleled expertise and a commitment to excellence. Tiffany’s innovative approach and keen eye for detail ensure that every event is unique and memorable. Her favorite aspect of working in the event industry is witnessing the culmination of all the hard work and seeing guests thoroughly enjoy the final result. When she’s not orchestrating events, Tiffany enjoys traveling and exploring new places in search of the best coffee or Old Fashioned!
Executive Chef, John Robert Bandy
Chef JR is the culinary genius behind our delicious catering. Trained at Johnson and Wales University and with over 20 years of experience, he brings creativity and flair to every dish. Chef JR loves the constant learning opportunities in the kitchen, from discovering new dishes to mastering innovative techniques. He loves experimenting with new recipes and is always on the lookout for fresh, local ingredients to incorporate into his creations. When he’s not in the kitchen, he enjoys fly fishing. Once, he even had a memorable encounter with a black bear over some salmon—and emerged victorious!
Matt Neuhaus, Banquet Event Manager
With a knack for logistics and 18 years of experience in the service industry, Matt is our go-to guy for all things related to banquets and large gatherings. His passion for perfection and problem-solving skills make him an invaluable asset to our team. He enjoys working events because the dynamic nature of the industry ensures that no two days are the same, offering constant variety and new challenges. Outside of work, Matt is an avid disc golfer with the hopes of one day playing competitively and he loves making music with his friends.
Rebecca Borowski, Banquet Captain
Rebecca has been working events for a little over a year now and ensures that every banquet runs like a well-oiled machine. Her organizational skills and ability to anticipate guests’ needs are second to none. Rebecca’s favorite type of event to work are fundraisers because everyone who attends is there for a good cause and to have fun! A fun fact about her- she’s the ultimate Swifty!
Johanna Wyatt, Catering Sales Coordinator
Johanna is the friendly face who greets you when you arrive at 1881. Her warm and welcoming personality ensures that every guest feels at home from the moment they step through our doors. Johanna’s favorite thing about working in the event industry is meeting new people and helping to make their special occasions memorable.
